Article VII(5)(c) of the Treaty stands alone as an alternative method of authentication to sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) combined; under Hong Kong law s.31 of the Evidence Ordinance permits an authenticated copy purporting to bear the foreign court's seal to be received in evidence without further proof; the warrant produced satisfied that mode of authentication, the magistrate's finding was reasonable and the committal order was lawful, therefore the appeal is dismissed.
