Section 255 may be used where the Committee of Inspection's inactivity prevents completion of a voluntary liquidation; the court therefore ordered HK$330,000 to be drawn from the estate to contribute to the liquidators' fees, dispensed with an audit under s255A, limited retention of books and records to six months under s283, and ordered the costs of the application to be paid out of the company estate.
