Because the action is a proprietary claim and the plaintiff has reasonable grounds to believe that funds were deposited in bank accounts relevant to the claim, the court will order section 21 disclosure of bank books and require the defendant to disclose all assets in Hong Kong with particulars; however the court will not at this stage order that non-compliance bars the defendant from defending without strong persuasion.
