The offence of conspiracy to defraud, as understood to require an agreement to use dishonest means judged by the Ghosh test and directed to causing economic loss or risking economic interests (and including contrary-to-public-duty cases), is formulated with sufficient precision to satisfy the "prescribed by law" and "according to law" requirements; it does not extend to contrary-to-private-duty cases; on the facts the appellant's conviction for conspiracy to defraud of the Bank of China was sustainable.
