The 3rd Defendant was the principal contractor, occupier and employer of the Plaintiff at the material time and, having failed to provide safe working platforms, safety belts and to comply with Construction Sites (Safety) Regulations, breached statutory and common law duties and was negligent; the Plaintiff was not contributorily negligent; damages assessed and judgment entered for the Plaintiff, netting HK$7,104,374 against the 3rd Defendant.
