On the uncontradicted evidence the court found the trades of 15 and 18 December were authorised or ratified by the defendant and he failed to meet the contractual settlement obligations; accordingly the defendant is liable for the debit balance and contractual interest and judgment is entered for the plaintiff for those sums.
