Because the deposit was paid on behalf of the corporate tenant and the Plaintiff failed to prove any authorization, assignment or corporate resolution directing payment of the deposit to him, the refund belonged to the corporate tenant and the Plaintiff's claim for the deposit failed; however, Plaintiff established entitlement to reimbursement of $2,800 for appliances/repairs because the landlord benefited and there was sufficient evidence of agreement to reimburse; admitted rent and electricity owed by Plaintiff were allowed against him.
