Convictions quashed because the convictions rested on accessorial liability that was not raised at trial and the charges were duplicitous: multiple identifiable deposits by different victims over a period could not properly be treated as a single continuing offence under s25 and the established exceptions to duplicity did not apply; therefore convictions were unsafe and no retrial was ordered for the respondent.
