The Court held that possession under s.76(1) with intent to make false credit cards attracts culpability comparable to conspiracy, that the present operations were of high sophistication and grave potential loss so the appropriate starting point for the main offending is 10 years imprisonment, and that the sentences for D1, D2 and D3 should be reduced and substituted accordingly (D1 total 8 years 8 months; D2 total 10 years; D3 total 5 years 10 months).
