The court found that the plaintiff had a real prospect of success such that there was a serious question to be tried and that the balance of convenience favoured granting an injunction because there was a considerable risk the 1st defendant would remove the funds from the jurisdiction; accordingly the injunction preventing payment of HK$51,230,137 to the 1st defendant was granted and costs were awarded to the plaintiff.
