The magistrate's acceptance of the eyewitness evidence and finding that the appellant failed to exercise sufficient attention when moving his vehicle (crossing the yellow line and contacting the other vehicle) established conduct below the standard of a reasonable competent driver; given the magistrate's superior advantage in assessing credibility and absent any manifest error, the appellate court will defer and find the evidence sufficient to support conviction beyond reasonable doubt.
