The Court upheld the trial judge's credibility determinations and concluded that on the proved facts and reasonable inferences — including that the appellant knew the two agents did not actually handle the policies and that commissions deposited into their accounts were therefore illicit proceeds — the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt that the appellant had reasonable grounds to believe the monies were proceeds of crime; convictions on all five counts were therefore safe.
