The magistrate correctly adopted the established tariff, legitimately adjusted the starting point upwards due to a prior similar conviction, properly applied a guilty plea discount reducing the sentence to 16 months, and was justified in declining to deduct prior administrative immigration detention unrelated to the offence; therefore the sentence is appropriate and the appeal is dismissed.
