The court sanctioned the scheme because it satisfied statutory requirements (ss671, 673, 674), the convening order was complied with, the creditors were properly constituted as a single class with materially similar rights in and out, the explanatory statement provided sufficient information, the required statutory majorities were obtained, a reasonable creditor would approve the Scheme, there was a sufficient connection with Hong Kong and no blot or defect precluded sanction; accordingly the draft sanction order was made.
