The court held (1) s.25(1) Cap.455 includes a person who deals in the proceeds of his own indictable offence; (2) where the conduct occurred outside Hong Kong it need not be proved that the conduct was an offence in the foreign country because s.25(4) treats conduct which would be indictable if it occurred in Hong Kong as within the section; (3) a judge or magistrate may reverse an earlier ruling excluding evidence if new information shows the earlier ruling was wrong, continuation would be unjust and reversal would not prejudice a fair trial; (4) the Magistrate properly admitted the records…
