The court found the medical evidence insufficient to establish on the balance of probabilities that the deceased's myocardial infarction was triggered by events arising out of his employment. Applying recognized overwork recognition criteria and available medical literature, and given the absence of convincing proof of a work‑related trigger during the employment period, the death did not arise out of employment and the employees compensation claim was dismissed.
