Because the compensation assessment certificate and the funeral expense certificate had not been cancelled or overturned and the respondent lodged no opposition, the court converted both Department of Labour certificates into court orders under s6D(9) and s6E(15). The court accepted the applicant's uncontested testimony that the HK$100,001 payment was a gratuitous emergency gift and therefore not deductible from the statutory compensation awards.
