SONG LIHUA v. LEE CHEE HON (FORMER NAME: QUE WENBIN)
- Citation
- [2023] HKCFI 2959
- Court
- Court of First Instance
- Case number
- HCCT111/2022
Leave to appeal was refused because the applicant failed to show the judge took into account irrelevant matters or made an error of law or that the decision was plainly wrong; the court found the arbitrators conduct during the second hearing was sufficiently egregious to create reasonable doubts, in the eyes of an objective observer, that the proceedings accorded with basic principles of natural justice, and enforcement in Hong Kong would therefore offend domestic public policy and be shocking to the courts conscience.
