Given the extreme depravity of the material (including sexual acts involving very young children, dead bodies and dismemberment), the Internet publication with international reach, and aggravating circumstances, a robust deterrent sentence both in personam and in rem was justified; the Magistrate's starting point of 30 months and concurrent sentences of 21 months were not manifestly excessive nor wrong in principle and are confirmed.
