The evidence established at most a minimal instance of directing a prostitute for gain; because the offence was at the lowest end of the scale, the appellant had no prior convictions and behavioural problems did not justify detention, a custodial sentence was unwarranted; having already served three months' detention the sentence was quashed and the appellant was absolutely discharged.
