On the broad‑brush assessment the court found the wife’s immediate reasonable needs were HKD 44,160 per month; the wife’s bank cash and other capital were considered arguable as not freely available and so were not relied upon for MPS; there was insufficient evidence that the husband’s father would cease providing funds and, given past practice and the husband’s role in operating family funds, the court could proceed on the basis that family/third‑party funds would continue to be available to enable the husband to pay MPS.
