The court concluded the wife was the successful party on the MPS application because she obtained both interim maintenance for the children and the LCP award while the husband had made no offers exceeding the IM eventually ordered; accordingly the costs order nisi was made absolute, costs to follow the event, and the wife entitled to costs of the variation application and the MPS application to be assessed summarily.
