On the balance of probabilities the equitable/beneficial interests in the properties passed through the chain of assignments to the plaintiffs despite defective execution by the 1st vendor; the 1st vendor was dissolved so s45 Trustee Ordinance applies and the court, in the exercise of its discretion, granted vesting orders to vest the legal estate in the plaintiffs to rectify title defects and protect the purchasers who provided consideration.
