On the evidence the plaintiff suddenly dashed from the pavement into the first lane and was struck while the bus was lawfully and slowly pulling up at its designated stopping position; the 1st defendant did not breach his duty of care and the 2nd defendant is not vicariously liable, therefore the plaintiff's claim fails.
