The court held that the Magistrate's adopted individual starting points for Charges 2 to 8 were not manifestly excessive given the amounts, duration, sophistication and the appellant's role and benefit, but the aggregate sentence of 36 months (post-plea, notional start 54 months) was manifestly excessive when applying the totality principle and mitigation.
