The appellant's appeal was allowed in part: although he provided information that led to some enforcement action, his assistance was substantially undermined by his giving false and inconsistent evidence in subsequent proceedings which caused acquittals and wasted resources; accordingly only a minimal additional discount (5% of the starting point) was warranted, producing a total re-sentence of 29 months imprisonment on the principal charge with the secondary sentence to run concurrently.
