Although a contractual jurisdiction clause between the consignor and carrier carried great weight, the court refused the stay because the presence of multiple parties with Hong Kong connections, local tort issues and evidence, and a related admiralty action created sufficient inconvenience and a real risk of inconsistent decisions such that all issues should be litigated together in Hong Kong.
