The Court held the trial judge did not err in principle or in valuation of aggravating features; the 1st appellant's arrival in Hong Kong to commit theft within hours, the coordinated group conduct, the night tourist location and the 2nd appellant's recognisance and prior convictions collectively justified a 30‑month starting point; after plea discount the 1st appellant's 20‑month sentence and the 2nd appellant's 30‑month sentence were appropriate and upheld.
