Where a defendant's substantial impairment of responsibility arose from voluntary drug addiction and the defendant is no longer mentally ill so that hospital order is unavailable, the appropriate disposal is a determinate sentence reflecting true culpability; the sentencing judge did not err in imposing 5 years' imprisonment, which was not manifestly excessive.
