The conviction was upheld because the trial judge gave comprehensive and fair directions on photographic identification and the jury, properly directed, were entitled to be satisfied both that the victim identified the man in the photographs and that the man in the photographs was the applicant; there was no basis to conclude the conviction was unsafe.
