Detention centre orders were inappropriate for the serious in‑premises robberies in question; having regard to comparable sentences of co‑accused and sentencing guidelines the court substituted immediate terms of imprisonment (concurrent) reflecting the gravity of the offences while allowing the usual review reduction for early pleas and other factors.
