The appropriate order in interlocutory proceedings concerning a child is ordinarily no order as to costs; absent reprehensible or unreasonable conduct by a party, the court will not penalise costs. Applying that principle here, the father's conduct did not justify a costs penalty and therefore no order as to costs was made.
