The court permitted the use of the defendants' company accounts to assess the undertaking but required strict scrutiny of deductions, disallowed clearly private expenses (supermarket bills), allowed entertainment expenses only if vouched and reasonable, and held that on the present accounts there is nothing to pay into court; accountancy disputes are to be resolved by a joint accountant while disputes over interpretation must be returned to the judge.
