Leave to appeal against conviction was refused because the trial judge provided adequate accomplice warnings, properly directed the jury on conspiracy and addressed inconsistencies and relevant background evidence; leave to appeal sentence was granted in part because the determination of the appropriate starting point (in light of the quantity agreed to be trafficked and overall role) was reasonably arguable, while the two-year enhancement for involving minors was properly treated as an aggravating factor.
