The Court upheld the Magistrate's credibility findings as to the three prosecution witnesses, accepted the scene admission as independently reliable, found the interpreter credible and the second interview to contain cogent admissions, and held that the procedural breach of recording language (Direction No.6) did not undermine the reliability of the admissions; accordingly the convictions were upheld.
