The Court held that, notwithstanding some imprecise phrasing and minor factual slips in the summing up, the trial judge gave adequate warnings about accomplice evidence, separate corroboration and the lack of admissions by D1 and D4; the cumulative effect did not render the convictions unsafe, and the sentences for D2 and D3 were not excessive — applications for leave to appeal against conviction and against sentence were refused.
