Held: (1) Hopkinson J. was within jurisdiction to revoke bail he had the authority to grant (Tsoi) and that order stood; (2) Hopkinson J. lacked jurisdiction to revoke bail granted by a magistrate (Chung) by his own motion without formal application, but notwithstanding that defect habeas corpus could not be used to impeach a High Court judge's order; accordingly the habeas corpus applications were dismissed.
