The court found that the applicant failed to prove that the 11 September 2001 accident caused a permanent disabling right wrist injury because of material inconsistencies in her statements (confusion between left and right wrist) and lack of supporting medical continuity, but accepted that the 8 May 2002 accident caused a right shoulder injury with a 10% loss of earning capacity as assessed by the Medical Assessment Board and accordingly awarded s.9 compensation of HKD 45,446.40 plus interest and allocated costs as stated.
