The Court applied the totality principle to reduce and reconfigure sentences so the aggregate terms were not excessive: it adjusted the sentence on the principal robbery count down where necessary and altered one count from consecutive to concurrent for the third appellant while otherwise upholding consecutive sentences for distinct offences, producing new aggregate terms of imprisonment of 7, 6 and 9 years respectively.
