As noteholders the Applicants were not creditors of Jiayuan and the ORPL was correct to reject the proofs of debt in respect of the note claims; although the ORPL should have accepted proofs for smaller direct claims under Cancellation Agreements, the sums were too small to affect the result of the first creditors' meeting; accordingly the appeal is dismissed.
