Where a charging order is validly registered before the registration of agreements for sale, the charging order takes priority under s.3(1) of the Land Registration Ordinance; the court will not refuse to assist in satisfaction of properly obtained judgments by declining to order sale merely because it may operate harshly on subsequent purchasers who registered later, particularly where rectification of the register or other remedies were not sought in the proceedings.
