The Court held that the 39-month starting point adopted by the trial judge was manifestly excessive and that a three-year (36 months) starting point for each relevant charge is appropriate; the OSCO 50% enhancement is lawful and may be applied, but guilty pleas must be reflected in a substantial reduction; accordingly Ye Ya-liu's sentence on the conspiracy charge was reduced to three years imprisonment, and for Dai Hui-fen and Liang You-qing each offence attracts three years with one year to run consecutively to produce total sentences of four years imprisonment; leave to appeal against sente…
