- Citation
- CHOW CHING FUK v. R.
- Court
- Court of Appeal
- Case number
- CACC396/1993
The exclusion of Chow's out-of-court statements was correct because they were made after arrest and caution in circumstances that did not exclude the possibility of concoction or distortion and in any event did not negate the issue of joint possession; the fingerprint evidence provided an unequivocal link on the facts and the jury was properly left to convict; cash evidence was properly admitted as relevant and for the jury's assessment; accordingly leave to appeal was refused and conviction and sentence upheld.
