The magistrate correctly applied binding sentencing authorities; given the appellant’s prior similar conviction and use of the forged ID to obtain employment the enhancement to 18 months on the primary charge was justified; financial hardship and remote familial responsibilities do not warrant reduction; the 105 days of administrative detention, occurring five years earlier and given the nature and timing of the offences, did not merit exercise of discretion to reduce the sentence.
