The Court held the master erred in refusing to infer that the accident contributed to the marital breakdown; increased PSLA to $500,000; adopted a notional monthly earning figure derived from Labour Department statistics (monthly equivalent 17,421) and found the period of incapacity ran from 16 March 2002 to 16 December 2005 (45 months) with a further six months of partial loss, resulting in a revised total award of $1,488,759 and an increase of $607,635.52 to the master's award.
