Given the high level of parental conflict, the mother's credibility concerns, and the young age and expressed distress of J, the court continued supervised access at the Social Welfare Department (every Saturday 9:00–11:00) for 18 months, required both parents to undertake psychotherapy/counselling and ordered an updated Social Investigation Report in 18 months; supervision was justified and unsupervised access was not appropriate at this stage.
