The court amended Form 86 to name only the TCAB as putative respondent and the Director of Immigration as putative interested party, accepted the applicant's withdrawal by affirmation on the basis he had obtained residence, and dismissed the application because there was nothing outstanding in the action, applying the principle in Re Manik Md Mahamudun Nabi [2022] HKCA 471.
