- Court
- Court of First Instance
- Case number
- HCAP19/2003
On the totality of contemporaneous documentary evidence (letters, remittances, photographs), the formal French recognition of parentage, eyewitness affidavits and continued maintenance and relationship, the court found the plaintiff established paternity as a matter beyond reasonable dispute and the defendant failed to adduce any arguable defence or reason for a trial; summary judgment was therefore appropriate and letters of administration were ordered to be granted to the plaintiff.
