The court held that prima facie the proposed plastic surgery evidence was necessary, relevant and of probative value to determine the need for the treatments recommended by Dr King and to assist assessment of PSLA and future care costs; there was no undue delay and the cost of a single joint expert was proportionate; accordingly leave to adduce plastic surgery evidence was granted and the parties were ordered to appoint an independent single joint plastic surgery expert by agreement.
