The administratrix, as personal representative, had her rights to the shares transmitted by operation of law and validly notified the companies under s158; G-Toys failed to register within the statutory 2‑month period and Global Gain's stated refusal lacked lawful basis (pending proceedings and alleged failure to administer estate do not justify refusal); accordingly the court ordered registration under s159 and declined a separate s633 rectification order as unnecessary.
